He was in from 800 metres from home and when he was asked to lengthen stride in the straight he turned the race into a procession.
Harris had two exaggerated looks over his shoulder on the way to the easiest of wins with Callsign Mav (NZ) (Atlante) a distant second with Aotea Lad (NZ) (Savabeel) lengths back in third.

The front-runner The Mitigator (Master Of Design) didn’t shirk his task in the run home and kicked strongly for second with Hanger (NZ) (O’Reilly {NZ}) closing off well for third.
