The Eagle Farm trainer produced the filly to win first time out at the Gold Coast and she will shoot for a repeat performance in the Aquis Gold Pearl 2YO Fillies.

“She was really good on debut and they all take good improvement from first-up to second-up. Having been out and won on the track she’s got to be a good chance,” Anderson said. “She’ll go out at a reasonable price, they put up $13, so at least we’ve got no pressure on us."

Anderson said She’s A Tigress had been a quick learner and a straight forward youngster to deal with.

Watch: She's A Tigress win on debut

“She’s had no issues and she’s a little professional. Last time she was as quiet as a church mouse in the tie up stalls and when she came out to the enclosure she was getting on her toes a touch, so I guess she knows what it’s all about.

“Any horse that can win on debut has got a bright future, but how far she can go I don’t know at this stage.

“We’ll put the side winkers on her on Saturday and that will keep her nice and sharp.”

She’s A Tigress was purchased out of Yarramalong Park’s draft at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale in March for $55,000 and is raced by Brisbane owner Gary Lawrence.

“He races a few with us and tends to own them outright and that way he can make all the decisions in conjunction with myself and not have to worry about anyone else,” Anderson said.

She’s A Tigress is a daughter of the unraced Ghoom (Tiger Hill {Ire}), who is from the family of the G1 Blue Diamond S. winner Knowledge (Last Tycoon {Ire}) and his half-sister Maslins Beach (Flying Spur) won the G3 Tesio S.

Profit on target

Anderson has also been thrilled with the progress of Profit (Dundeel {NZ}) since his resuming run for second behind Alligator Blood (All Too Hard) in the G3 Vo Rogue Plate ahead of the $2 million Gold Coast Magic Millions Guineas on January 11.

“He’s been down to the beach for a leisurely walk through the water and has come through that first-up run really well,” he said. “You wouldn’t have known he’d gone around he was bouncing around after we got him home.

“Look, we don’t expect to beat Alligator Blood but hopefully we can be top three and narrow the margin. It will be a high pressure race so who knows what will happen on the day.

“Duncan Ramage, who bought him, and I are going through some plans to take him to Sydney in the autumn. You won’t see the best of him until he gets out to a mile and beyond.”

Profit as a yearling

A $280,000 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale purchase, Profit was offered by Arrowfield Stud and is a son of the Listed winner Opportunity (NZ) (Redoute’s Choice).

Successful in three of his five appearances, Profit is a half-brother to the stakes performers Rifleman (Hussonet {USA}) and Geromayo (Charge Forward) and the family of the G1 Queen of the Turf S. winner Ike’s Dream (King Of Kings {Ire}).
