In the build up to the New Zealand Bloodstock National Yearling Sale at Karaka, we will pick out three yearlings each day who have had substantial pedigree updates in the past couple of months.

Today, we highlight a filly boosted by a recent stakes success in Queensland, a colt from the family of the Listed Singapore Gold Cup winner and a filly to have benefitted by the Group form of two family members.

Lot 37 Pride Of Dubai x Lady Iveagh (More Than Ready {USA}) – Offered by Woburn Farm

The Listed Spirit Of Boom Classic winner Miss Frankel (Frankel {GB}) is a close relative of this filly, as is the G3 Wellington Cup runner-up The Good Fight (NZ) (High Chaparral {Ire}), also third in the G3 City of Auckland Cup.

Lot 37 - Pride Of Dubai x Lady Iveagh (filly)

Miss Fabulass’ dam is the former champion filly Samantha Miss (Redoute’s Choice), winner of three Group 1 events, and the pedigree also features the G1 Adelaide Cup winner Cronus (NZ) (Zabeel {NZ}).

Lot 282 Divine Prophet x Sidereus Nuncius (Galileo {Ire}) – Offered by Kilgravin Lodge

A half-brother to recent winner Bassanite (Fastnet Rock), this colt boasts Clint (NZ) (Power {GB}) among his family members who kindly won the Listed Singapore Gold Cup after the catalogue went to print.

Lot 282 - Divine Prophet x Sidereus Nuncius (colt)

Kilgravin’s colt is out of a half-sister to the G3 Frank Packer Plate winner and G1 Toorak H. runner-up Rockwood (Rock Of Gibraltar {Ire}). Their dam Foxwood (NZ) (Centaine) was the dual Group 1 winner of the New Zealand 2000 Guineas and the Captain Cook S.

Lot 544 Turn Me Loose (NZ) x Diamantaire (NZ) (Montjeu {Ire}) – Offered by Windsor Park Stud

This filly has had significant boosts recently from a pair of well-performed family members with The Real Beel (NZ) (Savabeel) winning the G2 Cal Isuzu S. Fiscal Fantasy (Skilled) claimed the G3 Alison S. and has also finished second in the G1 Zabeel Classic and the G3 Trentham S.

Lot 544 - Turn Me Loose (NZ) x Diamantaire (NZ) (filly)

Windsor Park’s youngster is a half-sister to the South African Group 3 winner The Centenary (NZ) (Mastercraftsman {Ire}) with the dam a half-sister to the Australian black type winner Philidor (Chief’s Crown {USA}) with them all members of the Eight Carat (GB) (Pieces Of Eight {Ire}) dynasty.
