TDN AusNZ: How did you decide on this particular mating?
Jamieson Park: "We bought Refreshing as a weanling at the Teeley Dispersal. We wanted to give her every chance early on and sent her to I Am Invincible. She is a direct descendent of Shantha’s Choice and the most recent stakes winner from this great family, Sangria is a three-quarter sister to this filly also being by I Am Invincible."

TDN AusNZ: What was the foaling down like and initial comments on the foal? What was the horse like as a weanling?
Jamieson Park: "As a foal she always had that Vinnie head and quality but was no standout. She just kept improving, getting bigger and stronger and has grown into a magnificent yearling. Bruce Perry who we work closely with rates her as the best filly to come off our farm. I’m sure she'll be up there with the best fillies by the sire at Easter."
TDN AusNZ: How is the horse handling prep so far? Does it have a nickname? Particular traits/personality?
Jamieson Park: "She is a typical Vinnie, no fuss, does what you ask and with a positive attitude."
