In the build up to the Inglis Sydney Easter Yearling Sale, we will pick out three yearlings each day who have had substantial pedigree updates in the past couple of months.
Today, we take a look at a son of I Am Invincible who is now a half-brother to a Group 1 winner, a Hinchinbrook colt to have received a Group 3 update and a Sebring youngster from the family of one of this season’s leading 2-year-olds.
Lot 10 - I Am Invincible x Lady Beckworth (General Nediym) – Offered by Newgate Farm
This colt received a major boost at Randwick last weekend where his half-sister I Am Excited (Snitzel) won the G1 The Galaxy, while another half-sister Flippant (Hinchinbrook) is a Group 3 winner of the Frances Tressady S.
This is the family of the multiple Group 1 winner Atlantic Jewel (Fastnet Rock), whose son Russian Emperor (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) won in Ireland this week, and her half-sister Commanding Jewel (Commands), who won the G1 Thousand Guineas.

Lot 161 - Hinchinbrook x Rippled (GB) (Dalakhani {Ire}) – Offered by Edinglassie Stud
The family roll of honour was recently added to by this colt’s half-sister Greysful Glamour (Stratum), last season’s G1 VRC Oaks runner-up, when she won the G3 Mannerism S. and also ran third in the G3 Epona S.
The dam has also produced the multiple winner and Group 3 performer Celestial Falls (Hinchinbrook) and there’s a strong international presence on the pedigree page through the G1 Ascot Fillies’ S. winner Crystal Music (USA) (Nureyev {USA}).
Lot 187 - Sebring x Scandiva (Fastnet Rock) – Offered by Bhima Thoroughbreds
Undefeated champion sprinter Black Caviar (Bel Esprit) is the headline act in the pedigree and there have also been significant recent updates for this colt. Under the second dam is the quality 2-year-old Hanseatic (Street Boss {USA}).
He has won the G3 Blue Diamond Prelude and the Listed Blue Diamond Preview before finishing runner-up in the G1 Blue Diamond S. The Listed Talindert S. winner and G2 VRC Sires’ Produce S. winner Ole Kirk (Written Tycoon) is also a member of this family.
