Sale Standouts: Quality youngsters

In today’s Sale Standouts, we highlight a selection of well-related youngsters to be offered at the Inglis Australian Weanling Sale.

Lot 72 - Pierro x Sweet Maggie (Danehill Dancer {Ire}) – On account of Fairhill Farm

The dam was unraced and has produced five winners with the best of them so far the talented Vinnie Eagle (I Am Invincible), who was successful in the G3 Eclipse S. and was also runner-up in the G3 James & Annie Sarten Memorial. As Massive Millennium, he has been a multiple winner in Hong Kong.

Lot 72 - Pierro x Sweet Maggie (filly)

Her dam is a half-sister to Nashville (NZ) (Darci Brahma {NZ}), who won two editions of the G1 Otaki Maori WFA while the third dam Hawajiss (GB) (Kris {GB}) adds international flavour to the pedigree as the winner of the G2 Goodwood Nassau S. and placed in both the G1 English Oaks and the G1 Irish Oaks.

Lot 133 – Russian Revolution x Bond (Wanted) – On account of Sledmere Stud

This Russian Revolution filly boasts an abundance of speed and quality in her pedigree and a daughter of a winning mare who is a half-sister to Virage De Fortune (Anabaa {USA}), winner of the G1 QTC Sires’ Produce S. and the G1 Australia S.

Lot 133 - Russian Revolution x Bond (filly)

Virage De Fortune’s sister Avenue was another short course specialist who claimed four Group 3 sprints and was runner-up in the G1 Oakleigh Plate. Their dam is out of the former champion mare Emancipation (Bletchingly), successful in six Group 1 events.

Lot 239 – Lonhro x Impossibly (Choisir) – On account of Glastonbury Farms

Two unraced dams comfortably fill this pedigree page with the filly on offer out of a Choisir mare who is a three-quarter sister to the G2 Yallambee Classic winner Champagne Harmony. The second dam Quiz Queen (NZ) (Defensive Play {USA}) is a half-sister to the Group 1-winning siblings St Reims (NZ) (Zabeel {NZ}) and Champagne (NZ).

Lot 239 - Lonhro x Impossibly (filly)

Their sister Imposingly (NZ) produced the two-time New Zealand Horse of the Year and multiple Group 1 winner Bonneval (NZ) (Makfi {GB}), the G2 Championship S. winner Lord Arthur (Camelot {GB}) and the Group 3 winners Imposing Lass (NZ) (Makfi {GB}), Full Of Spirit (Flying Spur) and Lady Cumquat (Duke Of Marmalade {Ire}).
