In today’s Magic Millions National Yearling Sale Standouts, we look at a colt from a successful international family, a youngster whose profile has been lifted by a South African Group 1 performer and a well-related son of first-season sire Tarzino (NZ).

Lot 1255, Siyouni (Fr) x Minamya (Fr) (Makfi {GB}) – On account of Arrowfield Stud

This colt brings an impressive international pedigree to the ring, which has also starred in Australia, with his winning dam is a half-sister to the stakes winner Mila (Fr) (Cape Cross {Ire}) and Mandistana (Fr) (Azamour {Ire}), who placed at Group 2 and 3 levels.

Lot 1255 - Siyouni (Fr) x Minamya (Fr) (colt)

Their dam is a sister to Manighar (Fr) (Linamix {Fr}), who made his mark in this part of the world with Group 1 victories in the BMW S., Australian Cup and the Ranvet S. His half-brother Manndawi (Fr) (Dalakhani {Ire}) was a winner and placed in the G1 Grand Prix de Paris and the G3 Geelong Cup.

This colt’s stakes-winning dam has had one foal to race in the form of the successful Tahuna (I Am Invincible) and a feature of the pedigree is the presence of the G1 Thousand Guineas winner Serious Speed (Royal Academy {USA}) and the dual Group 2 winner Majestic Music (Al Maher).

An update to the pedigree has been provided by family member and G2 Kenilworth Southern Cross S. winner Run Fox Run (Foxwedge), who recently finished runner-up in the G1 Scottsville South African Fillies’ Sprint.

From the first crop of a multiple Group 1 winner, this colt is a half-brother to a four-time winner and the second dam is a sister to the G1 Blue Diamond S. winner Danelagh (Danehill {USA}).

Lot 1380 - Tarzino (NZ) x Yugoslavia (colt)

She has produced the Hong Kong Horse of the Year Vengeance Of Rain (NZ) (Zabeel {NZ}) and his G1 Australian Oaks-winning sister Dizelle and half sister Bernicia (Elusive Quality {USA}) was a stakes winner.
