A colt by Exceed And Excel's Group-performed son Outreach ran the quickest time during Tuesday’s third breeze-up session leading into next month's Magic Millions Gold Coast 2YOs in Training Sale.
Outreach pushed subsequent G1 Golden Slipper winner and Coolmore sire Vancouver at his only start when runner-up in the G3 Canonbury S., and is a brother to the Slipper winner Overreach.
His son, Lot 96 from the draft of Kenmore Lodge, is the third foal of the twice-winning Black Hawk (GB) mare Ablackahawka and he clocked a slick 10.28s for his 200 metre gallop at the Gold Coast Turf Club.
The speedy youngster hails from the family of the G1 The Galaxy H. winner Proprietor (Belong To Me) and the G3 Greyville Poinstettia S. winner Ozzy Moon (Polish Patriot {USA}).
Oakey-based consignor Symphony Lodge presented the next three fastest breeze-ups of the session with Lot 59, a Better Than Ready colt clocking 10.33s. He is out of Shadows ‘N’ Stars (Dane Shadow), a five-time winner.
Lot 85 is a son of Reward For Effort and he ran 10.38s and is a grandson of the G1 New Zealand 1000 Guineas winner and G1 Thorndon Mile winner Pace Invader (NZ) (Westminster {NZ}).
A Nicconi colt, Lot 24, posted 10.43s and he is a son of the Listed Maribyrnong Trial S. winner Noesis (Exceed And Excel) and the well-performed family of the G1 Blue Diamond S. winner True Jewels (Brief Truce {USA}) and the dual Group 2 winner Wager (Flying Spur).
The fourth and final breeze-up session will be held at the Gold Coast Turf Club on Friday, November 6.
The 2020 Magic Millions Gold Coast 2YOs in Training Sale will be held on Tuesday, November 10.
