Race summary
Consistent mare Greysful Glamour (Stratum) brought up her second consecutive stakes win as she held on for a narrow victory here.
The flashy grey mare jumped and went straight to the front as she normally does, travelling along at moderate tempo under Rachel King. She kicked away at the top of the straight and looked home until a late burst from her rivals in the final 50 metres.
She just held on though and posted a 0.4l win with Best Of Days (GB) (Azamour {Ire}) in second and Criaderas (Lonhro) another 0.1l away in third.

Greysful Glamour was bred in Queensland by Stuart Hume, who teamed up with John Foote to buy her dam Rippled (GB) (Dalakhani {Ire}) at the 2012 Tattersalls December Mares Sale.
A winner over 1600 metres, Rippled is the dam of two winners from two foals to race – Greysful Glamour and her younger half-sister Celestial Falls (Hinchinbrook), who has placed in the G2 The Roses and G3 Ethereal S.
Rippled is out of a three-quarter sister to Always First (GB) (Barathea {Ire}), who won the G2 Sunset H., G3 Sycamore S. and G3 Stars & Stripes Turf H., along with placings in four other Group races.
After producing Greysful Glamour in 2015 and Celestial Falls in 2016, Rippled returned to Hinchinbrook to produce colts in 2017 and 2018. She had a filly by Pierro in 2019 before missing to Dundeel (NZ) last season and was served by Fastnet Rock this year.

The regally-bred Acrobat (Fasnet Rock) got his career off to the best possible start, taking out the $500,000 2-year-old feature here.
Ridden by James McDonald, the colt was driven up from the gates to sit outside the leader and showcased an impressive turn of foot to race away in the straight to go on and win by 2.3l.
Ashema (I Am Invincible) was brave in defeat as she led the trip and held on for second, while Mission Value (Capitalist) was another 4.5l away in third.

Race summary
Given a well-rated front-running ride by Jason Collett, Significance (Frankel {GB}) was able to score his first stakes win here.
The Clare Cunningham-trained 4-year-old entire went straight to the front out of the gates and Collett slowed the tempo down the back, allowing Significance to quicken at the top of the straight and go on to win by 0.5l.
He Runs Away (Arg) (Heliostatic {Ire}) gave good chase but couldn’t get past the leader, while Windermere (All Too Hard) and Purrfect Deal (Dundeel {NZ}) dead-heated another 1.5l away in third.

Aqua Bella is a daughter of three-time Group 1 winner Aquarelliste (GB) (Danehill {USA}) and has an unraced 3-year-old named Villanbella (Snitzel) and a yearling colt by Written Tycoon, while she foaled a filly by Zoustar this year.

Athiri (Lonhro) scored a long awaited maiden stakes win as she ran away with this race to score a dominant victory.
The James Cummings-trained mare enjoyed a dream run in second before she peeled out around the bend, and rocketed home in the final stages of the race to go on and win by 1.5l.
Southern Lad (Ocean Park {NZ}) came home in second while Tactical Advantage (Bel Esprit) way a further 1.3l away in third.

Sweet Dolly (Real Saga) posted her second win from two starts as she flew home to score here.
The filly settled one of the fence in the second group back and managed to get into the clear at the 300 metre mark, before veering out upon being hit with the whip.
It was no problem though, as she rocketed home in the final stages of the race and overran the front runners to win by 0.75l.
Fake Love (I Am Invincible) scored second after looking the winner before Sweet Dolly spotted past, while Rhapsody Rose (Star Witness) was another 0.2l away in third.

The gelding settled in second throughout the run and was still second with 100 metres to go before he showcased an electric turn of foot to storm past Sugar Boom (Spirit Of Boom) and win by 0.1l.
Boomtown Lass (Spirit Of Boom) also ran home well to score second, while Sugar Boom held on to finish 0.75l away in third.

Maozi (Helmet) stormed home but couldn’t get there in time and finished second by 0.1l, with Krone (Eurozone) a further 0.2l away in third.
