The lightly-raced filly enjoyed a lovely run three back on the fence under Leah Hemi, before withstanding the late challenge of runner-up Charms Star (NZ) (Per Incanto {USA}).
The Stephen Marsh-trained Zee Falls (NZ) (Sacred Falls {NZ}) was game in defeat, sticking on into fourth after stringing the field out at a solid tempo, while the highly-rated Cheaperthandivorce (NZ) (Savabeel) hit the line hard after settling nearest to last.

Llanacord was a NZ$15,000 2019 New Zealand Bloodstock Karaka Book 2 purchase by Mr KE Hopson from the draft of Mapperley Stud. She is the fifth of eight foals out of maiden winner L’Accord (NZ) (Golan {Ire}), who herself is a half-sister to G1 New Zealand One Thousand Guineas winner, Ad Alta (NZ) (Kenfair {NZ}).
L’Accord’s most recent offspring is a filly by Shamexpress (NZ). She also has a colt by Time Test (GB) at foot.
