The Anthony and Sam Freedman-trained entire was forced to work hard early to cross from barrier 11 but quickly settled into stride under Mark Zahra.
From there, he maintained the box seat position prior to skipping clear on straightening and making his class rivals look second rate.
Well-supported gelding Heart Of Puissance (Puissance De Lune {Ire}) worked home into a convincing second, while Moonlight Maid (Puissance De Lune {Ire}) flashed into third to hold out an improved South Pacific (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}).

Le Don De Vie’s sire Leroidesanimaux (Brz) finished second in the 2005 G1 Breeders’ Cup Mile to Artie Schiller (USA), who is the sire of G1 Coolmore Stud S. winner and now Newgate Farm sire Flying Artie. Leroidesanimaux himself is responsible for G1 Kentucky Derby and G1 Dubai World Cup winner and sire Animal Kingdom (USA).
