G3 Northerly S., $150,000, 1400m

Another attempt at a double here with last year's winner Taxagano (Rogano) again trying his luck with the last horse to win this twice being Megatic (Danetime {Ire}) in 2008 and 2009.

And, as with the Crawford S., the second and third horses from last year's running are again heading to Ascot - Platoon (Playing God) and Massimo (Sessions).

Back in Perth having spent time in Melbourne (winning last year's All-Star Mile) is Regal Power (Pierro).

Valour Road (Frost Giant {USA}) and Last Of The Line (Blackfriars) all boast consistent records.

Listed R.S. Crawford S., $125,000, 1000m

Indian Pacific (Zoustar) seeks to be the first horse since Metallic Storm (Metal Storm {Fr}) in 2006 and 2007 to win this race in consecutive years. Both the second Mervyn by Henny Hughes (USA) and the third-placed Stageman (Written Tycoon) runners from last year also again take their place.

The classy Elite Street (Street Boss {USA}) is having his first run since May and boasts impressive track/distance statistics of three wins from five starts. Flirtini (Artie Schiller {USA}) looms as a threat.
