G3 Eagle Technology S., NZ$90,000, 1600m

Demonetization (an All Too Hard half-brother to Midnight Special by So You Think {NZ} who later in the day tackles black-type company in Perth) bolted in second-up and will be further improved.

Royal Performer (GB) (Medicean {GB}) is still racing well at nine and Hypnos (NZ) (Reliable Man {GB}) looks ready for another win having shown plenty of heart when an on-pace second in the G2 Tauranga S. third-up.

Paisley Park (NZ) (Azamour {Ire}) overcame trouble in running to record a gutsy first-up win and it was good to see the Group 1 horse The Mitigator (Master Of Design) back in winning form last time out.

Les Crayeres (NZ) (a Redoute's Choice from the prolific Richebourg {NZ} by Vice Regal {NZ} family) has been good winning five of 10 so far.

Listed Eagle Memorial 3YO, NZ$70,000, 1500m

Six of the nine runners here are last-start winners including Pareanui Bay (NZ) (Lonhro) has impressed winning his first two. La Crique (NZ) (Vadamos {Fr}) and La Bella Beals (Star Turn) are also shooting for hat-tricks.

Yes We Khan (NZ) (Mongolian Khan) found the line well at just his second outing as did Aquacade (NZ) (Dundeel {NZ}).

The well-related Just Dance (NZ) (a Tavistock {NZ} daughter of the Group 1 mare Stolen Dance {NZ} by Alamosa {NZ}) will also have fans on the strength of her debut victory.

Listed Wanganui Cup, NZ$60,000, 2040m

Marietta Lane (NZ) (Zed {NZ}) was no match for House Of Cartier (Alamosa {NZ}) last start but was game in defeat and that form looks good. Sir Nate (NZ) (Nadeem) was just behind Marietta Lane two starts back, since then finishing off strongly for a second despite a rise in weight.

Bully Boy (NZ) (Rock 'N' Pop) was coming along nicely before failing on rain affected going last start and Skyphyta (NZ) (Pierro) was an improver at his most recent outing.

Prince Leo (NZ) (Jimmy Choux {NZ}) and Fiddyafortnight (NZ) (Niagara) are racing well and Bonny Ezra (NZ) (Road To Rock) has trialled well since finishing off nicely in the Listed Gold Cup.
