Looking Ahead puts the spotlight on runners of interest across Australia and New Zealand. Whether they are a particularly well-bred or high-priced runner having their first or second start, a promising galloper returning to the track or a horse which has trialled particularly well, we’ll aim to give you something to follow.
On Saturday, we kickstart proceedings with the son of a first season Widden Stud stallion before turning our attention to a well-related filly at Eagle Farm.
We will then make our way to Randwick to watch a $900,000 colt step out in the lucrative R. Listed Inglis Nursery.

A $310,000 2021 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale purchase by Proven Throughbreds and O’Dea and Hoysted Racing, Mingle is a half-sister to the Group 2-placed Invinsible Tears (Maurice {Jpn}), who herself was fourth in this year’s G1 JJ Atkins Plate.
