Malua Racing Team Corstens is searching for an EMPDA (Equine Movement and Performance Data Analyst) to join our growing team.
The successful candidate must have an exceptional understanding of horse racing, horse movement and gallops as well as highly developed analytical and data processing skills.
Candidates must possess an eye for detail, ability to find and assess data trends and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
This position is 90 per cent office based, full time and based at Flemington Racecourse.

The Operations Manager will ensure the productivity and efficiency of the business while seeking to reduce costs and achieving company goals. The successful candidate will be highly reliable, professional, and experienced in business and operations, and will play a significant role in the ongoing growth of Annabel Neasham Racing. The Operations Manager will report directly to Annabel Neasham.
Essentials
• Proven success and extensive experience in the administration, organisation and structure of business.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing plans and actions to achieve quality, client, people, operational, financial and risk targets.
• Build a high-performance team through clearly defined objectives, development plans, open and transparent communication.
• Ensure continual review, improvement, and maintenance of operational activities to drive efficiency and productivity of the business.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective relationships across all levels.
• Implementing the vision of the business through logistical planning and execution.
• Maintaining budgets and financial performance.
Desirables
• An understanding of the racing industry.
• Degree or equivalent in business, accounting or economics.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.

Job description
Oversee the broodmare population on the farm.
Skills required but not limited to:
• Extensive experience foaling mares
• Care of mares pre and post foaling
• Co-ordination of vetting and farrier work in conjunction with vet, farrier and staff
• Daily monitoring of all on-farm broodmare stock
• General stud duties
• Ability to run a small team alongside yearling and farm managers
• Provide treatments as necessary
• Work alongside farm nutritionist in implementing and maintaining best feeding practices
• Monitoring of foal conformation
