Bello Beau (Brazen Beau) for Adam Trinder proved too good in the Listed Elwick S. at Hobart on Sunday, taking the win from Remuda (Inference) with Piiink Beauty (Zebedee {GB}) third.

The money had been for Bello Beau right up to when the field was behind the gates in the Mills New Norfolk Elwick S., a race won last year by Turk Warrior (Outreach) in his second of an incredible eight-win streak.
But Geegee Jet By (Wordsmith) firmed as the favourite just before the jump, for Brighton trainer Stuart Gandy, only to finish in fourth.
It was, though, Bello Beau off to the best start to settle off leader Piiink Beauty, with the pair heading them up into the straight. Travelling well into the straight, Bello Beau proved too good to pull away from Piiink Beauty to keep a clean slate of two wins.
Remuda found enough to get over a tiring Piiink Beauty for second and Geegee Jet By was strong to work from the back to finish fourth.
