Listed Morley Growers Market Challenge S., $125,000, 1500m

Overcoming trouble in running to salute in determined style, Trix Of The Trade (Trade Fair {GB}) made it six wins from seven starts for the Robinson family who bred him.

Also winner of the Listed Pinjarra Breeders' Classic, Trix Of The Trade is one of the 17 stakes winners for the G3 The Minstrel S. winner Trade Fair (GB) (Zafonic {USA}) who died in 2018. There are just 19 members of his final crop and this talented galloper is one of them.

Bred on a 3 X 4 Danehill (USA) (Danzig {USA}) cross with duplications of the excellent mares Natalma (USA) (Native Dancer {USA}), Flower Bowl (USA) (Alibhai {GB}) and Flaming Page (USA) (Bull Page {USA}), Trix Of The Trade is one of just three foals for the unraced My Name's Trixie (Passenger) who died young.

Whilst her second foal Tricky Sessions (Sessions) passed away before racing, her first is the talented Tricky Trix (Universal Ruler) who has won five of his 14 starts including his last three at Geraldton.

My Name's Trixie is out of a half-sister to the Listed winner Oxidation (Metal Storm {Fr}) and to the dam of the stakes winners Beat The Storm (Scenic {Ire}) and Like An Eagle (Oratorio).

Trix Of The Trade's fifth dam Picatina (GB) (Welsh Pageant {Fr}) is also sixth dam of fellow Saturday stakes winner Fangirl (Sebring).

Listed Cyril Flower S., $125,000, 1200m

This'll Testya (Testa Rossa) was strong to the line winning her sixth race from 18 starts - and at her first crack in black-type company.

Bred by Graham Daws, the 67th stakes winner for her now retired six-times Group 1-winning sire is one of two winners for the unraced Camille's Girl (Flying Spur), half-sister to the Group 3-placed Goldstone (Shamardal {USA}).

Hailing from the same family as the stakes winners Katima (Zeditave), Spring Heat (More Than Ready {USA}), Deferential (Royal Academy {USA}) and Eusebio (Benfica), This'll Testya was the second Saturday stakes-winning descendant of the influential matriarch Chelandry (GB) (Goldfinch {GB}) - Argentia (Frankel {GB}) the other.

A $52,000 2017 Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale purchase for Mark Nelson, This'll Testya is bred on a 3 X 4 Danzig (USA) (Northern Dancer {Can}) cross whilst also carrying duplications of the excellent mares Natalma (USA) (Native Dancer {USA}) and Special (USA) (Forli {Arg}).

Morphettville: Listed Premier's Plate, $107,250, 2037m

Wyclif (GB) (Archipenko {USA}) looked to have a bit in hand doing a good job saluting over 2037 first-up, adding this Listed race to his good record - one that also saw him win last year's Listed Port Adelaide Cup.

One of the two Australian stakes winners for his G1 HK Queen Elizabeth II Cup sire who stood at Lanwades prior to his death at just 13 in 2017, Wyclif was bred by Lanwades' Kirsten Rausing with Bba 2010 Ltd.

His dam is the unraced Altruiste (GB) (Montjeu {Ire}) whose dam Alborada (GB) (Alzao {USA}) earned the title of Irish Champion 3-Year-Old Filly with her two Group 1 victories. The dam of the other Australian Archipenko (USA) stakes winner My Nordic Hero (GB), she has proven to be quite the matriarch with nine other stakes winners descending from her.

Boasting three crosses of Archipenko's grandam Special (USA) (Forli {Arg}) - Nureyev (USA) (Northern Dancer {Can}) and Sadler's Wells (Northern Dancer {Can}) the others - Wyclif is a descendant of the legendary Mumtaz Mahal (GB) (The Tetrarch {GB}).
