UNDERSTANDING OF THE HORSE RACING INDUSTRY IS ESSENTIAL
Responsibilities
• Photograph occasional trackwork mornings, trials and race meetings
• Photograph at horse sales
• Travel to different locations for client jobs (VIC, NSW & QLD)
• Support head photographer on racedays during the racing carnivals
• Manage ABP social media accounts
• Manage archiving of client portfolios and ABP Images
• Basic photo editing, file and rename images on race and sale days
Skills, knowledge & abilities
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment
• Must be flexible with work hours, willing to start early and work weekends (mainly Saturdays) if necessary
• Ability to cover shifts or jobs when required
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Bridge and InDesign
• Must have solid understanding of individual social media platforms
• Administrative and organisation skills desirable
• Must have an understanding of the horse racing industry
• Videography skills preferred but not essential
• Graphic Design experience preferred but not essential
• Must have a driver's licence
• Horse knowledge is a must.
