OTI RACING - MANAGEMENT TRAINEE

Global Horse Management Company OTI Management Pty Ltd seeks a dynamic, vibrant and organised individual to add to our team.

The company

Based in Docklands, Victoria, OTI Racing and Bloodstock has a respected international presence in the competitive and growing thoroughbred industry. With this appointment, we seek to further that presence with particular focus on market penetration and client services.

The role

This role is for a “go-to” person, working with the management team across several business disciplines including:

• Editing, proofing, formatting and submitting documents or emails

• Social media management and analysis

• Website maintenance

• Client database management

• Business promotion and client services

• Client communication services

• Raceday assistance

• General office duties

Qualities sought

The successful applicant should have high levels of proficiency in:

• Verbal, written and grammar skills

• Office, numerical and general computer applications

• Social media application and analysis

• Audio-visual skills

• General business acumen

• Qualifications that enhance the role

This role calls for applicants who are proactive and show initiative. Importantly, they should have an eye for detail. They will have a keen interest in racing and be prepared to embrace the flexible timing requirements and scope of the role.

The successful applicant can be assured of a varied involvement in racing while learning new skills that will progress his/her business career.
