TDN AusNZ: What is your earliest memory of racing?
Josh Parr: As a 4-year-old boy walking across the course proper at Royal Randwick.
TDN AusNZ: What horse are you most excited for coming into the autumn carnival?
JP: Duais.

TDN AusNZ: What do you love most about your job?
JP: The thrill of race riding. The adrenaline rush, there is nothing like it.
TDN AusNZ: Is there another jockey who has inspired you in your career?
JP: My dad (Steve Parr).
TDN AusNZ: What race ride, by another jockey, is the best you’ve ever seen?
JP: Tim Clark on Converge in this year's Randwick Guineas.

JP: Shadow Hero.

JP: Play golf.

TDN AusNZ: Have you always wanted to be a jockey? If you weren’t a jockey what would you be?
JP: Yes, I have always wanted to be a jockey and if I wasn't a jockey I'd be broke.
TDN AusNZ: Is there a sportsperson you greatly admire, and why?
JP: Tiger Woods, we haven't seen a sports person like him before. With the mental capacity to win and to pull out a shot when needed at the most high-pressure moments.
