Lot 6 - Almanzor (Fr) x Veronica Franco (NZ) (colt)
A bay colt by Almanzor (Fr) out of Veronica Franco (NZ) (Johar {USA}). The dam is a Group 3 winner and a half-sister to Listed winners Diamond Hailey (USA) (Greinton {GB}) and Waterford (NZ) (Darci Brahma {NZ}). The second dam, Crystal Hailey (Greinton {GB}), is a half-sister to Listed winner and Group 1-placed Alydar’s Groom (USA). Almanzor’s oldest Southern Hemisphere progeny are two-year-olds, but already include stakes winner Dynastic (NZ).

A chestnut colt by Zoustar out of Volcada (NZ) (Stravinsky {USA}). This yearling is a half-sister to Group 3 winner Kaepernick (Fastnet Rock), one of six horses to race for the dam, all of whom have been winners. The dam is also a Listed winner and she is a half-sister to Listed-placed Royal Harmony (Marscay). Group 1 winner Spright (Hinchinbrook) is also in the family.
