Coolmore Australia - Stud Secretary

Coolmore Australia, a leading Thoroughbred breeding farm, is seeking an experienced Stud Secretary. This is a full-time role based at our Upper Hunter Valley location in Jerrys Plains.

The successful candidate will require excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills, along with good knowledge and understanding of the Thoroughbred Industry. The ability to work as part of a team is essential.

Experience with Ardex or a similar stud computer program is required, as are strong computer skills. This is a role that requires precision and attention to detail. A commitment to accuracy and timeliness is also essential.

Key responsibilities include:

• Processing of data relating to all horses on the stud.

• Liaising with clients and other farms on a daily basis.

• Liaising with sales companies, veterinarians and transport companies.

• Co-ordination of stallion coverings and a large volume of horse movements.

• Liaising with Coolmore staff, in particular the Stud Management Team.

An attractive salary package will be offered to the successful candidate.

Account Managers

Roles: Account Manager (senior) and Account Executive (junior)

Location: Remote or shared office in North Sydney

Hours: Full time, flexible work options

Account Manager:

Must have a minimum of three years of marketing and/or account management experience specific to the thoroughbred industry.

Account Executive:

Must have experience working in the thoroughbred industry and a keen interest in marketing.

These roles are extremely fast-paced and diverse. To be a successful candidate you must have a keen interest in thoroughbred horse racing, be energetic, precise, accountable and have an exceptional eye for detail.

Junior Social Media Assistant:

Location: Remote or shared office in North Sydney

Hours: Part-time - Wednesday, Friday, Saturday afternoons & Sundays

Option to expand the role into a full-time position after a six month training period has been completed.

This role is part of the social media team, servicing well-known national thoroughbred clients. As a valued team member, you will play an important role in ensuring the implementation and execution of our clients' social media campaigns are unique and exceptional.

This position is entry level, suiting those new to marketing who have excellent attention to detail, a can-do attitude and a passion for the thoroughbred industry and social media marketing.

To excel in this role you should be a confident people-person with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
