Magnificent five for Kah
Fresh from winning the G1 AJ Moir S. on Coolangatta (Written Tycoon) on Friday night, Jamie Kah put on a riding clinic with a career-equalling high of five winners at Mornington.

With wins on Wee Nessy (Snitzel), Mrs Sippy (Americain {USA}), Holster (NZ) (Tavistock {NZ}), French Emperor (Tavistock {NZ}) and Saracen Knight (Ire) (Camelot {GB}), in the day's feature, the Listed R.M Ansett Classic, Kah equalled her best performance of five winners on a program at Caulfield in May last year.
It could be another good day for Kah as she is set to jump on board Zaaki (GB) (Leroidesanimaux {Brz}) in the G1 Underwood S. at Sandown-Hillside on Sunday.
Stakes double for Bayliss
Regan Bayliss chalked up an impressive stakes double at Rosehill on Saturday, headed by Nimalee’s (So You Think {NZ}) win in the G2 Golden Pendant.
The jockey then duly added a second black-type victory to his record when he steered Surf Dancer (Ire) (Lope De Vega {Ire}) to victory in the G2 Shannon S.
Three winners for Super One
Lincoln Farm-based sire Super One was handed a treble across the card on Saturday.

The son of I Am Invincible was represented by a double at Canberra as Geminids and Super Riff landed their respective races, while Iron One provided the stallion with a winner when he landed his Mt Isa event.
Treble for Written Tycoon
Written Tycoon’s daughter Coolangatta handed him a new Group 1 winner on Friday night when she took out the G1 AJ Moir S. and on Saturday he chalked up his 50th stakes winner courtesy of Axe’s win in the Listed Weetwood H. at Toowoomba, the headline act of a fine three-timer on the afternoon.

The stallion was also represented by a winner at Belmont Park courtesy of Go Forward’s win, while the stallion’s 8-year-old son Karisto landed a race in Singapore.
Written Tycoon is standing for a fee of $165,000 (inc GST).
Tenth Colin Stephen Quality for Waterhouse
European import Grove Ferry (Ire) (Excelebration {Ire}) handed Gai Waterhouse an astonishing 10th win in the G3 Colin Stephen Quality at Rosehill on Saturday.
Waterhouse, in partnership with training partner Adrian Bott, has supplied three of the past four Colin Stephen winners with Grove Ferry joining Stampede (Ire) (High Chaparral {Ire}) (2019) and Entente (Dundeel {NZ}) (2021).

“We wanted to see him tick that distance box today and I think he had done that very well,” Bott said. “I know he’s had a while between runs coming here today (Saturday) but he had a really good foundation and a good lead-up prior to that.
“We came here with that in mind, that intention, that we’d leave that option open and I think off what we saw today it’s worthwhile.”
Zahra to ride Verry Elleegant
Mark Zahra will head to Longchamp next week to partner Verry Elleegant (NZ) (Zed {NZ}) in the G1 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.
Verry Elleegant has been ridden by Zahra on three occasions, each outing during the 2020 Melbourne Spring Carnival. They successfully combined in the G1 Turnbull S. and G1 Caulfield Cup before finishing seventh to Twilight Payment (Ire) (Teofilo {Ire}) in the 2020 edition of the G1 Melbourne Cup.
Zoustar snares Northern Hemisphere-bred double
Zoustar was provided with a Northern Hemisphere-bred double on winner on Friday, which saw his number of winners in the region swell to 11.
The first winner came courtesy of the Harry Eustace-trained Couplet’s (GB) victory at Haydock.
Having her first career start, the juvenile showed maturity beyond her years to beat Pure Angel (GB) (Ardad {Ire}) by a decisive 2.4l.
Zoustar | Standing at Widden Stud
Purchased for €65,000 (AU$111,400) by Church Farm and Horse Park at the Arqana Deauville August Yearling Sale last year, the filly is out of Listed winner Arabda (GB) (Elnadim {USA}).
Later on in the day, Not Even Close (Ire) provided the stallion with a second winner of the day when she broke his maiden at Dundalk.
Zoustar’s Northern Hemisphere-bred crop are headed by Group 3 winner Lezoo (GB). The stallion is currently standing at Widden Stud for a fee of $198,000 (inc GST).
