Our dynamic agency is seeking a junior social media and videography assistant to work with forward-thinking thoroughbred businesses.

Location: Remote or shared office in North Sydney.

Full Time: Does require Saturday afternoon and all-day Sunday. Flexibility to select your days off during the week.

Kick Collective is a dynamic creative team who are passionate about providing an exceptional standard of marketing and design content to our clients, based predominantly in the horseracing industry.

This position is entry level, suiting those new to marketing who have excellent attention to detail, creative flair, can-do attitude with a passion for the thoroughbred industry and social media.

The successful applicant will work within our social media and creative team, servicing well-known national thoroughbred clients. As a valued team member, you will play an important role in ensuring the implementation and execution of our client's social media campaigns and video content is exceptional.

This is a very exciting opportunity for the right person, as you begin a career path in the marketing industry, and develop your skills across social media platforms and videography.

To excel in this role you should be a confident people-person with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Assist with social media posts for client day to day social media posting including race results, stallion runners, graduate runners, media articles and prepared content

● Work with the wider marketing team to plan and prepare content for social media

● Stay abreast of changes in the social media landscape

● Remain up to date on thoroughbred industry news

● Assist with keeping client websites up-to-date

● Contribute to social media strategies and content planning

● Videography and video editing where required

● Daily monitoring of clients social media accounts including replying to comments and messages

SKILLS:

● Ability to read a pedigree and race record

● Well organised and have time management skills

● Ability to work quickly and accurately under time constraints

● Follow instructions accurately

● Strong written and verbal communication skills including exceptional spelling and grammar

● Attention to detail

● Understanding of social media platforms

● Eye for creativity with words and imagery

● Entry level skills in final cut, filming, Photoshop, Indesign and Canva

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Yearling Manager to join the team in a full-time role.

Prior experience in a similar role is desirable, and the successful applicant will have a comprehensive understanding of the thoroughbred industry.

A high level of experience and in-depth knowledge about preparing yearlings to the highest standard is required.
