Aiming, 3-year-old filly (Maurice {Jpn} x Hollow Bullet {Tayasu Tsuyoshi {Jpn}})
The Ciaron Maher and David Eustace camp will debut Aiming (Maurice {Jpn}) on Sunday at Yarra Valley.
The well-bred 3-year-old daughter of Maurice (Jpn) was second in a 1000-metre jump-out on March 6 at Cranbourne in preparation for her debut effort. Carleen Hefel has been engaged to ride and the pair will jump from barrier four.

Aiming is the 10th foal from the Tayasu Tsyoshi (Jpn) mare Hollow Bullet. She was a winner of six races from 1000 metres to 2500 metres, including victories in the G1 VRC Oaks and the G1 Arrowfield Stud S. Aiming is a half-sister to Reloaded (Snitzel), the gelding has won the G3 Lord Mayor’s Cup and placed in the G1 Rosehill Guineas and G1 JJ Atkins Plate.
The filly was a $200,000 yearling purchased by Ciaron Maher Bloodstock and was consigned by Kulani Park at the 2021 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale.

Rimbaud, 2-year-old colt (Lope De Vega {Ire} x Munees Gemini {Ire} (Australia {GB}})
Annabel Neasham will debut the impeccably bred colt Rimbaud (Lope De Vega {Ire}) at Scone on Sunday. The 2-year-old colt has trialled pleasingly twice this preparation, including an 808-metre event behind the G1 Golden Slipper runner Platinum Jubilee (Zoustar).
Rimbaud won his most recent trial on March 13 at Rosehill Gardens over 900 metres in preparation for his debut. Ashley Morgan has been engaged to ride and the pair will jump from barrier one.

The colt is the first foal from the Australia (GB) mare Munees Gemini (Ire), who was placed as a 2-year-old during her career. She is a half-sister to Bauble Queen (USA) (Arch {USA}) who was a winner of the G2 Santa Anita Robert J Frankel S. and is the dam of the multiple Group 3 winner Blitzkrieg (USA) (War Front {USA}).
Furthermore, Rimbaud’s third dam is By Land By Sea (USA) (Sauce Boat {USA}). She won three Group 1 races, the G1 Hollywood Park Milady H., the G1 Oaklawn Park Apple Blossom H., and the G1 Gulfstream Park Rampart H.
Rimbaud was a $650,000 yearling purchase by TFI when consigned by Yulong at the 2022 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
Looking Back
Saturday started with Glizty Glory (NZ) (Embellish {NZ}) running fourth on debut at Trentham. Followed by the Pariah gelding Non Grata who was placed third at Geelong on debut. To round out proceedings Touch Of Navy (Merchant Navy) prevailed first past the post in Race 4 at Geelong.
