Arrowfield Stud - Stallion Handler

Arrowfield Stud, the leading Australian horse stud based in the Hunter Valley, seeks a stallion handler as a permanent member of the team.

The successful applicant will join a close-knit innovative team responsible for the management and care of stallions standing at Arrowfield Stud. This role would suit someone with previous experience handling stallions in a breeding environment or an experienced horse handler who has a particular interest in developing this skill set.

New Zealand Bloodstock - Airfreight Operations

NZB Airfreight are global equine travel agents, flying precious horses around the world.

We are looking for a hardworking, organised Airfreight Operations team member to join our fast-paced team.

This role will be responsible for a wide range of logistical and operational tasks such as:

· Day-to-day communications with clients and suppliers

· Airfreight bookings and processing

· Be responsible for arranging door-to-door transport for horses of all breeds and types

Be a part of an exciting, unique industry with 250+ flights annually, plus live auctions and various events throughout the year. Working in a collaborative and supportive team based at our beautiful Karaka office. Situated on 40 lush acres with a gym onsite, easy access off the motorway and plenty of free parking of course! With a hotel, restaurant and bar on our doorstep, plus multiple cafes and a growing and vibrant town centre across the road.

If you are motivated and customer-focused, have the ability to meet critical deadlines, have MS Office skills and want to be a part of a leading equine air transporter, get in touch!

Knowledge of the racing industry is advantageous but not essential.

We are looking for someone to bring their passion for the industry and a new perspective to lead our association into the future. The CEO position offers variety and requires someone who is comfortable wearing many hats and willing to roll their sleeves up and get involved.

You will represent the association with an open mind and strong voice on key industry issues and focus areas on behalf of our members, to ensure the association maintains its strong presence in the industry.

Leading a small team from our office in Cambridge, you will enjoy building rapport and strong relationships with breeders, sponsors and our valued industry partners, and you will be part of ensuring NZ's reputation is retained as a producer of great thoroughbreds.
