Segenhoe Group are looking for an Assistant Yearling Manager. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with a strong background in yearlings who is looking to take that next step in their career and help manage some of the best-bred yearlings in Australasia.

The ideal candidate will possess:

- Previous experience with dealings and sales essential.

- Be able to work as part of a team and have good communication skills.

- Strong attention to detail.

An excellent remuneration package will be offered to the right applicant, including accommodation and a highly competitive salary. Assistance with flights and visas will be offered to overseas applicants.

Amelia Park - Full-Time Yearling Preparation Manager

Amelia Park Farm is a professional boutique racing and breeding operation located in the southwest of Western Australia. Located just 10 minutes from the beaches in Western Australia's wine and surf country, it is a beautiful place to spend the summer.

We require a full-time yearling prep manager from the end of November until the end of February for the Perth Sales.

With an expected draft of 15-20 yearlings, the candidate will require:

- Experience handling, prepping and educating young stock on the ground for the purpose of presenting them at sales.

- Confidence and experience with colts.

- The ability to manage a small team and work among a larger team of staff.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a short-term employment opportunity with a very successful and highly regarded breeding operation. Above award wage with accommodation and other incentives to be discussed with the right candidate.

The opportunity for permanent employment after sales is also available for the right candidate and can be discussed.

Very limited weekend work is required of this position.
