Tiz Invincible emulates She’s A Fox
The Ciaron Maher and David Eustace-trained Tiz Invincible (I Am Invincible) kicked off her spring campaign in outstanding style by winning the Listed The Rosebud at Rosehill on Saturday.
The 3-year-old filly was partnered by James McDonald in the 1100 metre event and scored from Introducing (Trapeze Artist) by 0.3l and The Instructor (Russian Revolution) narrowly holding off a fast-finishing Cigar Flick (Churchill {Ire}).
McDonald talking to Sky Racing, said, “Tiz Invincible is quite a placid filly in the trials and work, and today she drew barrier one, so she was in for a long time, and I find they just baulk a bit when that happens.
“She just took a left footstep outwards and wasn’t clear into stride. Halfway through, she started to track up strongly and showed a lot of enthusiasm which she hadn’t shown in trials, which caught me by surprise.
“Tiz Invincible knuckled down with a big weight (58kg) and put the field away.”

She is the second foal from the New Approach (Ire) mare Amuletum (GB). She hails from the family of Anamoe.
Tiz Invincible was a $550,000 yearling purchase by Ciaron Maher Racing, Bahen Bloodstock and Eric Lucas from the draft of Segenhoe Stud at the 2022 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale.
