Arrowfield - Financial Accountant

Arrowfield is seeking a suitably qualified professional to join our Sydney-based finance team on a fixed-term contract of up to 18 months. Assisting the CFO on all aspects of financial accounting, you will be degree-qualified and working towards your ACA/CPA with at least two years' experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities of the role include:

- Month-end accounting, including general ledger account reconciliations, manual journals, preparation of profit and loss and balance sheets.

- Maintenance of fixed asset and bloodstock inventory sub-ledgers.

- Preparation of activity statement for GST lodgements.

- Oversight of accounts payable function and bank reconciliations.

- Exposure to service providers including insurers, auditors, sales auction houses and bankers.

Required skills include:

- High competency in Xero.

- Ability to multi-task, high-level numeracy skills, with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.

- A strong problem solver who is motivated, responsible and accountable.

- Ability to work independently and in a small team.
