Koning, 3-year-old colt (Kingman {GB} x Patsy Boyne {Ire} {Galileo {Ire}})
Rosehill-based trainers Richard and Will Freedman will debut a son of Kingman (GB), Koning at Kembla Grange on Saturday.
Koning is the fifth foal from the Galileo (Ire) mare Patsy Boyne (Ire). She was a placegetter in the United States of America and is a half-sister to the outstanding galloper and stallion High Chaparral (Ire).

Koning hails from the family of the G1 Prix de Diane winner Fancy Blue (Ire) (Deep Impact {Jpn}). Furthermore, this is the family of Hunting Horn (Ire) who won the G2 Moonee Valley Gold Cup.
Koning was a $525,000 purchase by Mick Wallace and the Freedman Brothers from the draft of Bhima Thoroughbreds at the 2022 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

Siberian Bull, 3-year-old colt (Russian Revolution x Honesta {Monaco Consul {NZ}})
Randwick-based trainer John Thompson will debut Siberian Bull, a son of Russian Revolution at Kembla Grange on Saturday.
The colt is the fourth foal from the Monaco Consul (NZ) mare Honesta. She was a dual winner but placed in the G1 Flight S. and the G1 VRC Oaks in addition to the G2 Tea Rose S. and the G3 Ethereal S.

Furthermore, this is the family of the handy galloper Biggles (Flying Spur) who claimed the Listed Gold Edition Plate and the Listed Goldmarket H.
Siberian Bull was a $100,000 purchase by Kyhope from the draft of Grandview at the 2022 Magic Millions Gold Coast March Yearling Sale.
Looking Back
There was not much luck for Friday's selections. The best result was Colleano (Trapeze Artist) who finished third at Geelong, while Gold Wolf (NZ) (Tivaci) was unplaced at the same venue. Dashing Power (Tosen Stardom {Jpn}) rounded out the selections when he was unplaced at Tamworth.
