Looking Ahead - October 1

3 min read

Looking Ahead puts the spotlight on runners of interest across Australia and New Zealand. Whether they are a particularly well-bred or high-priced runner having their first or second start, a promising galloper returning to the track or a horse which has trialled particularly well, we’ll aim to give you something to follow.

It's a legendary weekend of sport across Australia, and the stakes and metropolitan action won't cease come Sunday, with Victoria holding the Sandown S. meeting at Sandown-Hillside. The meeting will also see two promising gallopers look to get a victory on board, while at the Sunshine Coast a son of Pierro will start his career.

Looking Back

There was little joy with Saturday's selections. After Invincible Madison (I Am Invincible) faded into last in the G3 Gimcrack S., Bodyguard (I Am Invincible) was scratched from the G3 Breeders' Plate leaving the race up to Scampi (Blue Point {Ire}), who finished 10th.
