Looking Ahead puts the spotlight on runners of interest across Australia and New Zealand. Whether they are a particularly well-bred or high-priced runner having their first or second start, a promising galloper returning to the track or a horse which has trialled particularly well, we’ll aim to give you something to follow.
The third day of the Flemington carnival commences with the traditional G3 Ottawa S. for 2-year-olds. We have found a couple of well-bred fillies that are on debut, one by Exceed And Excel, the other Extreme Choice. Our final runner - a Pierro colt - fetched $1.5 million as a yearling, and he debuts at Hawkesbury.
