A massive Saturday of juvenile racing will see three well-related 2-year-olds make their career debuts.

Celerity, 2-year-old filly (Exceed And Excel x Ellicazoom {Testa Rossa})
Godolphin’s Head Trainer, James Cummings, will debut a rare Godolphin yearling purchase, Celerity, on Saturday in the G3 Widden S. at Rosehill.
Celerity is a daughter of Darley’s brilliant Exceed And Excel, a noted source of juvenile precocity, while she is the second foal from the classy Testa Rossa mare Ellicazoom. Elilicazoom won three races at 1400 metres, including the G3 Cockram S. and the Listed Burgess Queen S.

In addition, Ellicazoom was also placed in the G1 William Reid S., the G2 Angus Armanasco S. and the G2 Western Australian Guineas. An auction house veteran, she was initially sold for $180,000 to Neville Parnham Racing at the 2015 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale and finally was sold for $1.45 million at the 2022 Inglis Chairman’s Sale to Sheamus Mills Bloodstock (FBAA) and Longwood Thoroughbred Farm.
Ellicazoom is the daughter of the tenacious Ellicorsam (Fimiston), who won 10 races, including the G1 Swettenham Stud S. and the then G2 Winterbottom S.
Celerity was an $850,000 purchase by Godolphin Australia from the draft of Kitchwin Hills at the 2023 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale.

Evaporate (NZ), 2-year-old colt (Per Incanto {USA} x Savanna {NZ} {Animal Kingdom {USA}})
Lindsay Park Racing trainers Ben, Will and JD Hayes have enjoyed success with the progeny of Little Avondale’s Per Incanto (USA), having trained his son Little Brose to success in the G1 Blue Diamond S. last year.
On Saturday, the brothers will send out Evaporate (NZ), a son of Per Incanto, in the G3 Chairman’s S. Evaporate also holds an entry in the G1 Blue Diamond S.

Evaporate is from the unraced Animal Kingdom (USA) mare Savanna (NZ). She is a half-sister to Belluci Babe (NZ) (Per Incanto {USA}), who won six races, including the G3 Wenona Girl H., and was placed in the G2 Millie Fox S. and the G2 Sapphire S.
In addition, Belluci Babe finished fourth in the G1 TJ Smith S. and the G1 The Galaxy H.
Evaporate was a $330,000 purchase by Lindsay Park Racing from the draft of Sledmere Stud at the 2023 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

Whiskey, 2-year-old colt (Better Than Ready x Secret Indulgence {NZ} {Fastnet Rock})
Whiskey, a $530,000 son of Lyndhurst Stud Farm’s Better Than Ready, will debut for his trainers Peter and Paul Snowden at Eagle Farm in Brisbane.
The colt is the seventh foal from the Fastnet Rock mare Secret Indulgence (NZ). She won once over 1900 metres but has proven a more than capable broodmare. Secret Indulgence is the dam of the G3 Tesio S. victress Amangiri (All Too Hard). Amangiri also won the G3 Hawkesbury Gold Cup and was placed in the G3 Adrian Knox S.

Secret Indulgence has also produced More Secrets (More Than Ready {USA}), who was placed in the G1 Queen of the Turf S. and the G2 Hot Danish S.
Whiskey was purchased by China Horse Club, Newgate, Go and Trilogy from the draft of Yarramalong Park at the 2023 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
Looking Back
Elegancia (So You Think {NZ}) was placed on debut at Werribee. Meanwhile, Excelindeed (Exceed And Excel) also ran into the placings at Canterbury. To round out Friday's selections Flyin’ The Pin (Deep Field) was scratched from her engagement at Bathurst.
