The catalogue for the 2024 Magic Millions Tasmanian Yearling Sale went online on November 28, 2023, and since then, a host of yearlings that will be offered at Quercus Park have had their pedigrees enhanced, which is important information for vendors and buyers alike.
Lot 112 - Ghaiyyath (Ire) x Smooth Return (Redoute’s Choice), colt - on account of Alva Stud
This colt is the seventh foal from the Redoute’s Choice mare Smooth Return, who has proven to be a brilliant producer. She is the dam of the Group 3 winner Toorak Affair (Toorak Toff) and the Listed victress Hela (Night Of Thunder {Ire}).
The family received further updates, when Lot 112’s half-brother I’m So Cool (Alpine Eagle) won a further two races, including the Sydeston Cup on Magic Millions Launceston Raceday.

Lot 60 - Earthlight (Ire) x Keep De Rose (NZ) (Keeper), filly - on account of Brookview Thoroughbreds
Lot 60 is by Darley’s first-season sire Earthlight (Ire) from the Group 2-placed Keeper mare Keep De Rose (NZ).
Keep De Rose is the dam of the city winner, Hey Fat Cat (Rubick), who was a brave fourth in the G2 Autumn S. at Caulfield. The son of Rubick potentially could contest the G1 Australian Guineas and contended Saturday’s G1 Futurity S.

Lot 18 - Doubtland x Can’t Fight Love (Fighting Sun), filly - on account of Fairways Bloodstock
Fairways Bloodstock will present Lot 18, a filly by Widden Victoria’s Doubtland, at the 2024 Magic Millions Tasmanian Yearling Sale. The filly is the second foal from the lightly raced Can’t Fight Love (Fighting Love).
Her first foal, Red Rowie (Alpine Eagle) recently broke his maiden at Camperdown in Victoria. Can’t Fight Loved foaled a colt by Dirty Work in September.
