Pinjarra Scarpside: Listed Pinjarra Cup, $150,000, 2300m
Appreciating a step up in distance having gone close in the Listed Bunbury Cup last time out, Holy Enchantment (Playing God) was strong to the line recording his fifth win and his first in stakes company.
The 18th stakes winner for his Darling View Thoroughbreds-based sire, he was bred by Mungrup Stud and sold by them to Millfields Park for $36,000 at the 2019 Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale.
He is the first foal produced by the unraced Majantic (McFlirt {NZ}) whose second foal Orchilla (Oratorio) broke her maiden at her most recent outing last spring.
A full sister to the dual stakes winner Global Flirt, Majantic was served last spring by Splintex - at her two previous seasons at stud foaling a full brother and a full sister to Holy Enchantment. Her yet to race 2-year-old is called Velvet Hands (I'm All The Talk).
Majantic's city-placed four-time winning dam Majestic Belle (Metal Storm {Fr}) is a half-sister to the G3 Belmont Sprint and Listed Grandstand Cup winner Global Impact (Prince Callide).
