The Danny O’Brien-bred and-trained Maracana (NZ) (Shamexpress {NZ}) has been in flying form. On Saturday, she gave her profile a considerable boost with her maiden stakes victory in the G3 Drinkwise Mile at Doomben. The victory also marked the second consecutive win by the daughter of the G1 Newmarket H. hero Shamexpress (NZ), having won at Cranbourne the start prior.
Lot 516 - Portorosa (Not A Single Doubt x Laguna Azzura (Jpn) (Heart’s Cry {Jpn}), mare - on account of Attunga Stud
Attunga Stud will present Lot 516 Portorosa. The daughter of Not A Single Doubt is a half-sister to the unbeaten 2-year-old Lazzura (Snitzel), who broke her maiden at Kembla Grange on April 24, and then won the Listed Woodlands S. on May 18.

The beautifully bred Sensical, a daughter of Zoustar, is from the R. Listed Magic Millions 2YO Classic victress Karuta Queen. Sensical’s half-sister Bezique (Spirit Of Boom) added further lustre to the family when she placed in Listed Bright Shadow H. on May 18.
