Three exciting runners are set to hit the track at across Australia on Sunday. Including Night Of Thunder (Ire) and So You Think (NZ) three-year-old fillies looking to cap off consistent form with maiden wins at Moe and a beautifully bred The Autumn Sun filly looks ready to win at Seymour.

Night Colours, 3-year-old filly (Night Of Thunder (Ire) x Tashaarok (Ire) {Invincible Spirit {Ire})
The Patrick Payne-trained Night Colours will travel to Moe on Sunday to have her third start over 1214 metres after running well at her only two-starts so far. She battled on well, running fourth on debut at Geelong behind Climate Change (Too Darn Hot {GB}) and then ran third at Wangaratta on June 2 behind Dalhart (Ilovethiscity).
The promising filly is by Night Of Thunder (Ire) and is the first foal from the Invincible Spirit (Ire) mare Tashaarok (Ire), who was placed on the track in Cyprus.

The family page is a little quiet up close in regards to stakes horses but has some lovely pedigree influences throughout including Dubai Millennium (GB), Galileo (Ire), Miswaki (USA), Green Desert (USA), Cape Cross (Ire), What A Pleasure (USA) and Nayef (USA).
Since producing Night Colours, Tashaarok has produced a yearling filly by Bivouac, a weanling colt by Bivouac, was most recently served by Bruckner in the spring.

Suances, 3-year-old filly (The Autumn Sun x Express Street {Street Sense {USA})
Suances, a daughter of Arrowfield Stud’s in-form young stallion The Autumn Sun, will have her third start at Seymour for Pakenham trainer’s Peter Moody and Katherine Coleman after running third on debut at Mornington on May 13 when she ran on strongly from a midfield position and then running a strong second when finding the line hard late at Cranbourne on May 31 behind Jaskier (Nicconi).
The well-bred filly is the third foal from the Street Sense (USA) mare Express Street, who was unplaced on the track.
She is very well-related being a half-sister to Sea Siren (Fastnet Rock) who was successful seven times including the G1 Manikato S., G1 Doomben Ten Thousand S., and in the G1 BTC Cup. She has since become a star broodmare and has left four winners including Warm Heart (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) who has won Group 1’s in the United States of America, Great Britain and France. Her other stakes winning half-siblings are Lady Dehere (NZ) (Dehere {USA}), Oratorio (Stravinsky {USA}) and Discorsi (Galileo {Ire}).

Other successful Stakes winners within this pedigree are Oracy (NZ) (Zabeel {NZ}), Chabaud (NZ) (Lookin At Lucky {USA}), Lady Maroal (NZ) (Power {GB}), The Lady (NZ) (Stravinsky {USA}) and Ruthless Dame (NZ) (Tavistock {NZ}).
Ruthless Dame was a very talented sprinter and was successful in the G1 Robert Sangster S., the G3 Thoroughbred Breeders’ S., and placed in the G1 Surround S., G3 Manfred S., and the G2 Emancipation S.
She has recently been in the news when selling for $2,000,000 to the bid of Katsumi Yoshida at the 2024 Gold Coast National Broodmare Sale.
Express Street since producing Suances has left a two-year-old filly by Dundeel (NZ), a yearling filly by Pariah and most was served last spring by Blue Gum Farm’s Sejardan.

Sweet Jasmine, 3-year-old filly (So You Think (NZ) x Spanner Head {Helmet)
The Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr-trained Sweet Jasmine will travel to Moe on Sunday to have her fifth start over 1623 metres after running two very good seconds at her only two-starts in her first preparation. She then ran an okay run for fifth first up this preparation when she looked like she needed it behind Hello Mary (Gold Standard), before improving to run a lovely second at Werribee behind Winged (Pride Of Dubai) over a mile on June 1.
The promising filly is by So You Think (NZ) and is the first foal from the Helmet mare Spanner Head, who was a five-time winner from 1400 metres to 1600 metres in Victoria and managed to place in the Listed Paris Lane S.

The family page is a little quiet up close in regards to stakes horses but has some lovely pedigree influences throughout including High Chaparral (Ire), Nijinsky II (Can), Singspiel (Ire), Danehill (USA), Canny Lad and Snippets.
Since producing Sweet Jasmine, Spanner Head has produced a two-year-old colt by So You Think named So Magnificent, a yearling filly by Capitalist named Head Capitalist, a weanling colt by Dundeel (NZ) and was most recently served by Toronado (Ire) in the spring.
