Three exciting runners by Australia's Champion Sire I Am Invincible are set to hit the track across Australia on Thursday, these runners will be racing at Gatton and Kembla Grange.
Gatton, Race 1, 12.17pm, AEST, Gatton Meat Centre Mdn P., $22,000, 860m
Levar, 3-year-old gelding (I Am Invincible x Shamal Wind {Dubawi} {Ire})
Gatton’s Thursday meeting will serve as the venue for the second start for the career of Levar, a regally-bred son of I Am Invincible from the Steven O’Dea and Matthew Hoysted stable at Eagle Farm.
Levar is the fifth foal out of the talented mare Shamal Wind (Dubawi {Ire}). She was successful in the G1 Oakleigh P., Listed Gucci S., and the Listed WJ Adams Stakes twice.

She has also had good success as a broodmare leaving four winners including the five-time winner Seguso (Redoute’s Choice), the seven-time winner The Driller (Sea The Stars {Ire}), The Stone Mason (Redoute’s Choice) and Laroupe (Fastnet Rock).
Levar has a strong international pedigree with her page full of influential international and colonial stallions including I Am Invincible, Dubawi (Ire), Canny Lad, Mr Prospector (USA), Machiavellian (USA), Shirley Heights (GB) and Capote (USA).
Levar was a $150,000 purchase by Proven Thoroughbreds/O’Dea Hoysted Racing from the draft of Baramul Stud at the 2022 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
Kembla Grange, Race 2, 12.45pm, AEST, Colourite Painting 2YO Mdn P., $42,000, 1000m
Vinniro, 2-year-old gelding (I Am Invincible x Lady Cartier {Fastnet Rock})
It's a solid form line for this Peter and Paul Snowden trained gelding who at his first start ran fourth behind the stakes-placed Spywire (Trapeze Artist) and Canara (I Am Invincible). At his second start he ran fifth behind Storm Boy (Justify {USA}), Traffic Warden (Street Boss {USA}) and Canara (I Am Invincible) again which even though he was beaten a fair way, it is a strong formline. This preparation he has trialled up well and won his most recent trial at Rosehill impressively on May 16 over 1045 meters, then he ran a solid fourth at Randwick on June 8 when he was trapped wide throughout and stuck on well behind Madrina (Street Boss {USA}).

Vinniro is by I Am Invincible out of Lady Cartier (Fastnet Rock) who is a three-quarter-sister to the three-time Group 1 winner Shoals (Fastnet Rock) and the Listed winning gelding Groundswell (Fastnet Rock). She is also a half-sister to the talented gelding Rustic Steel (Deep Field) who has been successful nine-times including the G3 Newcastle Newmarket H., and the Listed Scone Cup.
Other classy performers that feature in this pedigree are the stallions Redoute’s Choice, Manhattan Rain, Echoes Of Heaven and Platinum Scissors.
Capri Racing and Syndications were the purchasers for $155,000 at the 2023 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale from the draft of Tyreel Stud.
Kembla Grange, Race 5, 2.35pm, AEST, Carlton Dry Mid 3.5 3YO Mdn P., $42,000, 1200m
Fair Maiden, 3-year-old filly (I Am Invincible x Lady Lynette {Ladoni} {GB})
Bred and raced by Mr Gerry Harvey, the well-bred Fair Maiden is set to have her second start over 1200 metres for Warwick Farm trainer Gary Portelli at Kembla Grange on Thursday. On debut she ran seventh but only faded late to be beaten just over 2l by the very promising colt Depth Of Character (Deep Field), he has since run a placing behind the exciting Megastar Heart (Star Turn) in Listed company at Eagle Farm.
Fair Maiden is a daughter of Australia's Champion Stallion I Am Invincible and is out of the Ladoni (GB) mare Lady Lynette. She was a super tough and talented fourteen-time winning mare, her wins included the G2 Blazer S., G3 Tesio Stakes - twice, Listed Ladies Day Vase, Listed Bow Mistress Trophy and the Listed Vamos Stakes - three times.

Lady Lynette has had some success at stud leaving four winners including the three-time winner Rosa Moyessi (I Am Invincible), Pacific Chief (Written Tycoon), Medlyn (Medaglia D’Oro) and Beaumains (Medaglia D’Oro).
Lady Lynette’s further progeny include a two-year-old filly named Lady Straand by Written Tycoon that is unraced at this stage, a yearling filly by Ole Kirk, a weanling colt by Ole Kirk and was most recently served last spring by Star Turn.
