Just Like Gaby, 2-year-old filly (Pierata x Loving Gaby, by I Am Invincible)
The first foal of brilliant racemare Loving Gaby (I Am Invincible), Just Like Gaby was purchased by Ciaron Maher Bloodstock and Kevin Kelly at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale for $800,000 from Segenhoe Stud.
A trial winner on July 1, Just Like Gaby will be ridden by Jye McNeil from barrier 18 although there have been several scratchings which will bring her closer in.
She is by first season sire Pierata who has 8 individual winners and two stakes winners, being Coleman and Tobeornottobe in his first crop.

Just Like Gaby’s dam Loving Gaby was a $500,000 yearling herself, being by Champion Sire I Am Invincible, and she lived up to the price tag, earning $2.2 million in her four wins from 13 starts including the G1 William Reid S., G1 Manikato S., and five other Group 1 placings.
Loving Gaby is the first foal of stakes-placed winner Maastricht (NZ) (Mastercraftsman {Ire}) who is a half-sister to G1 Goodwood H. winner Velocitea (NZ) (Volksraad {GB}) and Listed winner Weaponry (NZ) (Declaration of War {USA}).

Sneaking into this field thanks to a few scratchings is $1.1 million filly On Display who is trained by Mick Price and Michael Kent (Jnr) and will be ridden by Damian Lane from barrier 8. She comes into this completely unsighted and might provide some value for punters.
Purchased from Lime Country Thoroughbreds, who also sold this season’s G2 Silver Slipper winner Straight Charge (Written By), On Display was purchased by Sheamus Mills Bloodstock (FBAA) at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale for $1.1 million.

On Display is by Fastnet Rock, whose 193 stakes winners including Group 1-winning fillies such as Atlantic Jewel, Catchy, Avantage, First Seal, Mosheen, Shoals, and many others.
She is a half-sister to G1 NZ 1000 Guineas winner Media Sensation (I Am Invincible), and her dam is a half-sister to dual Group 1 winner Dorabella (NZ) (Postponed {USA}) who also won the G1 NZ 1000 Guineas.

Stepping out in the Makybe Diva colours for trainer Byron Cozamanis at Murray Bridge is Round Two, a member of the Santic’s famous Gold Anthem family. The American Pharoah gelding is the third foal of winning mare Faith In Hand (Fastnet Rock) whose first foal is already a winner.
