The action returns to the Gold Coast in March with the annual Magic Millions March Yearling Sale, and the 2025 catalogue of 380 lots will be sold on March 10 and 11, and notably, the entire catalogue is either QTIS Fully Paid or QTIS 1st Payment.
“It’s a must attend for buyers looking for value yearlings. If you look at the last few years, the earnings of the graduates outweigh the aggregate of the sale,” said Barry Bowditch.

“With the incentives around the sale, and the QTIS races that many of these horses are eligible for, owners can run in Brisbane for almost $140,000 on a Saturday for fillies and $120,000 for colt. Through the Magic Millions series races for Queensland-bred horses and there’s a lot of prizemoney available for these horses.”
“There were a significant amount of horses from this sale who raced at the recent Magic Millions meeting, including The Debut winner Amosu. This sale gets you into the right races on the right days.”
Liam Birchley trained 2-year-old filly Amosu (Invader) won The Debut on January 11 to take her earnings above $350,000, and she was a $60,000 purchase at the 2024 Magic Millions March Yearling Sale by Bloodstock Solutions from Kenmore Lodge. Kenmore Lodge will present 22 yearlings in March including Lot 368, a Profiteer half-sister to Amosu.
