A five-time stakes winner and Group 1-placed on multiple occasions, I Am Invincible mare I Am Me has been a force on the track. Her standout performances include a runner-up finish to 10-time Group 1 winner Imperatriz (I Am Invincible) in the G1 Manikato Stakes at Moonee Valley and another second-place effort behind dual Group 1 winner Magic Time (Hellbent) in the G1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes at Caulfield.
I Am Me has consistently performed at the highest level, finishing in the top four in 12 of her 17 starts at stakes level, including five of her eight Group 1 appearances.
Among her career highlights, I Am Me claimed the $2 million G3 Sydney Stakes and the Group 2 Missile Stakes. She became only the second horse alongside dual The Everest winner Redzel (Snitzel) to complete the Group 3 Concorde Stakes and Group 2 The Shorts double over 1000 metres and 1100 metres at Randwick, beating a host of Group 1 winners, including Bella Nipotina (Pride Of Dubai), Private Eye (Al Maher), Giga Kick (Scissor Kick), and Mazu (Maurice {Jpn}).

Her blistering speed was showcased in the Listed Canterbury Sprint, where she shattered the 1200-metre track record, stopping the clock at 1:08.45s; beating the previous mark by nearly half a second. With a peak Timeform rating of 119, she has a higher rating than several top-level winners, including Sunshine In Paris (Invader), Espiona (Extreme Choice), and Zapateo (Brazen Beau).
Inglis Bloodstock CEO Sebastian Hutch couldn’t be more thrilled about her inclusion in the catalogue.
“I make no secret of the fact that I adore this mare, both as a race filly and as a prospective broodmare, so I have been speaking to Dean (Watt) and Adam (Watt) about her for what feels like years,” Hutch said.
“She has really got it all: electric speed, an outstanding physique, and a pedigree that is just about tailor-made for her to be an elite broodmare.”

A daughter of Champion Sire I Am Invincible, I Am Me is out of Medaglia d’Oro (USA) mare Mefnooda. Her second dam is G3 VRC Thoroughbred Breeders’ Stakes winner One World (Danehill {USA}), herself the mother of One Last Dance (Encosta de Lago) who won the G3 MRC Blue Diamond Prelude.
Set to be offered as a racing and breeding prospect at the Chairman’s Sale on behalf of her owners, Dynamic Syndications, who purchased her for $210,000 from the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale, I Am Me is a confirmed runner in April’s $5 million The Quokka in Perth and remains a contender for this weekend’s G1 The Galaxy at Rosehill and the G1 TJ Smith Stakes on Day 1 of The Championships at Randwick.
Dynamic Syndications’ Adam Watt described her as “the dream mare.’’

“She’s the type of horse that every owner dreams of,” Watt said. “Being a $210,000 Inglis Premier yearling that has gone on to win 11 races, be five-times Group 1 performed, and amassed over $4.7 million in prizemoney so far in her stellar career, she’s been an absolute dream for everyone involved with her.
“The journey’s not over yet for us; there are still some top-level races she will run in over the coming month or two.
“She’s incredibly sound and really racing at the peak of her powers as a six-year-old, which is testament to her quality and toughness, and we thank Ciaron (Maher) and (assistant trainer) Johann (Gerard-Dubord) for how they managed her career.
“She’s a truly gorgeous individual, she’ll no doubt be a blue-chip mare in any broodmare band around the world. It’s sad that her journey with us is coming to an end, but she leaves us with some incredible memories, and saying farewell to her at the Inglis Chairman’s Sale, which is such a special night on the global sales calendar, is going to be a memorable experience.’’
