A share in Extreme Choice has sold for $540,000 on the latest Inglis Digital Sale, while a share in Savabeel sold for $50,000.
Extreme Choice share bought by Glenlogan Park
Offered by China Horse Club, a share in Extreme Choice sold during the Inglis Digital May 2025 Sale for $540,000 to Glenlogan Park and Steve Morley Bloodstock. Extreme Choice stands at Newgate Farm in 2025 for $330,000 including GST, and the share entitles the owner to send one mare a year to him.
“The reality is, the stats emanating from this stallion speak for themselves and the word ‘freak’ certainly has to be in the conversation,” Steve Morley said.

“When you look at those stallions at the top end of the market, Extreme Choice is younger than all of them and he’s already provided Group 1 horses. Glenlogan have a number of very high-class mares and from a long-term point of view, we think we will be able to get some great results with Extreme Choice in the next say eight-to-10 years.
“The beauty of Inglis Digital is it’s very easy to use and it gives opportunities to both buyers and sellers all throughout the year, twice a month.”

Extreme Choice’s fertility issues have been well documented, and in 2024, he covered 97 mares at a fee of $275,000 including GST and 51 are confirmed in foal. The share entitlement outlines how Newgate Farm are managing Extreme Choice’s career. “The share entitles the holder to One (1) nomination per season (restricted to Two (2) covers per nomination, per season). Mares are vetted at Newgate with the best candidate being allocated the booking. The cover does not carry any free returns.”

The G1 Blue Diamond and G1 AJ Moir Stakes winner has been a statistically superior sire with 14 stakes winners from less than 170 runners with five Group 1 winners. His stock are commercially sought after and he has several young sons at stud already including G1 Golden Slipper winner Stay Inside, Tiger Of Malay and Extreme Warrior
“We’re delighted with the outcome,” said China Horse Club’s Michael Smith.
“It sets a new benchmark for the stallion. He’s a superior horse and we’re delighted to have Glenlogan join us in the ownership, who are such incredible breeders in their own right. It’s been a seamless process with Inglis Digital, the share got a lot of coverage in the lead-up and we’re looking forward to the stallion going from strength to strength in years to come.”
