Zourosa, 3-year-old filly (Zoustar x Rosa Moyessi {I Am Invincible {USA}})
Moe’s Thursday meeting will be the venue for the second start of the Jason Warren-trained filly Zourosa (Zoustar).
The promising 3-year-old looked talented when making her debut as a juvenile in the Listed Without Fear Stakes at Morphettville, where she ran a solid fourth. Since then, she has had a break, and a couple of jump-outs and a trial on the Caulfield Heath, where she won over 900 metres on August 13.

Zourosa is the first foal from the I Am Invincible mare Rosa Moyessi, she was a three-time winner up to 1300 metres, including at metropolitan level in Sydney.
Zourosa’s grandam is Lady Lynette (Ladoni {GB}), a prolific 14-time winner who was successful in seven stakes races, including the G2 Blazer Stakes. She has gone on to leave four winners as a broodmare.
Rosa Moyessi, since producing Zourosa, has left a 2-year-old colt by Zoustar, a yearling filly by Pierro, and is due to foal to Pierro again in the next week or so.
Zourosa was purchased by Jason Warren Racing for $150,000 from the Baramul Stud draft at the 2024 Magc Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

Cool Summer Nights, 3-year-old filly (Russian Revolution x Hot Summer Night {Fusaichi Pegasus {USA}})
The well-related Cool Summer Nights (Russian Revolution) will debut over 1212 metres for trainer Nathan Doyle on Thursday at Coffs Harbour.
She has shown some nice talent at the Gosford trials recently, including winning over 800 metres on August 7 and placing a close-up fourth over the same distance on August 18.

Cool Summer Nights is the seventh foal from the Fusaichi Pegasus (USA) mare Hot Summer Night. She was only placed on the track, but has left a mark as a broodmare, leaving the Group 2 winner Summer Sham (Not A Single Doubt), who herself has left Schwarz, who was successful in the G1 William Reid Stakes among his five stakes wins.
Cool Summer Night’s second dam is the Giant’s Causeway (USA) mare Unspoken Choice, she is a half-sister to the late Champion Sire Redoute’s Choice and Group 1 winners and sires Manhattan Rain and Platinum Scissors.
Since producing Cool Summer Night, Hot Summer Night has produced a Russian Revolution 2-year-old filly named Another Soiree, and last month produced an Admire Mars (Jpn) filly.
Cool Summer Nights sold for $140,000 at the 2024 Magic Millions Gold Coast National Yearling Sale, with Sheamus Mills Bloodstock (FBAA), Price Kent Racing and Coolarest Farm being the successful purchasers from the draft of Vinery Stud.
