Kiwi Raider (NZ), 3-year-old filly (Per Incanto (USA) x Anaween {More Than Ready {USA}})
The promising Kiwi Raider (NZ) (Per Incanto {USA}) is set to make her debut over 1000 metres at Mornington for trainer Mark Walker on Friday. She has looked talented at the Cranbourne jump-outs. Winning her two most recent over 800 metres last month.
Kiwi Raider is the sixth foal out of Anaween (More Than Ready {USA}). She was a winner at 900 metres on the track and has produced three winners.

Kiwi Raider’s grandam, Little Chloe (Danehill {USA}), won at 1400 metres and was three times stakes placed. She is a full sister to the Group 1 winning sprinter and former successful Cambridge Stud stallion Keeper.
Further back in the family are the Group 1 winners Amarelinha (NZ) (Savabeel), Metal Bender (NZ) (Danasinga), and the young Group 3 winning sire North Pacific.
Since producing Kiwi Raider, Anaween has left an In The Congo yearling filly, and is due to foal to Per Incanto (USA) later this month.
Kiwi Radier was purchased for NZ$270,000 by DC Ellis (CNZM), Ozzie Kheir, Group 1 Bloodstock and Bruce Perry Bloodstock from the draft of Kilgravin Lodge at the 2024 NZB Ready To Run Sale.

Tagline, 3-year-old gelding (Tagaloa x Rekindled Glow {Redoute’s Choice})
The Yu Long Investments bred and raced Tagline (Tagaloa), who is trained by Matt Laurie, is making his second start on Friday on his home track at Mornington.
The promising gelding ran second on debut at Moe on August 24, and he looks very hard to beat in the hands of Daniel Stackhouse from barrier three.

Tagline is the fourth foal from the Redoute’s Choice mare Rekindled Glow, who was unraced, but has a very strong pedigree being a three-quarter-sister to the Champion sprinter Giga Kick (Scissor Kick). He has been a dual Group 1 winner and the winner of The Everest, and also a three-quarter-sister to the very exciting young stallion Alabama Express, who is in the news currently as the sire of the outstanding Treasurethe Moment.
Since producing Tagline, Rekindled Interest has left a yearling colt by Lucky Vega (Ire), and is due to foal to Tagaloa i n late October.
