A 10% share in Group 1 winning 4-year-old mare Charm Stone (I Am Invincible) topped Wednesday’s Inglis Digital sale when making $310,000 to the bid of Walnut Farm. The price values the mare at $3.1 million, a decent upgrade on her $1.55 million yearling price.
“I’m very happy with the result,” vendor Rob Cummings told inglis.com.au. “I’m downsizing my breeding operation and Will Stott – who looks after me at Inglis – advised me to list the share on Inglis Digital.
“Inglis did a great job with the marketing and Will goes over and above and beyond.

“The ownership group have been great, I’m still good friends with them and I wish them, and the new part-owner, the best of luck with her Friday night and into the future.”
Charm Stone, trained by Mick Price and Michael Kent (Jnr), runs in Friday night’s G1 Manikato Stakes. Originally sold by Emirates Park to Sheamus Mills Bloodstock (FBAA) at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, Charm Stone has won four of her 12 starts with earnings over $1.3 million.
A full sister to Listed winner Najmaty, Charm Stone is one of five winners for her dam, Najoom (Northern Meteor) won five of her seven starts including the G3 Hawkesbury Guineas and G3 Fred Best Classic.
Eric Yeung continued to build his bloodstock portfolio, purchasing the second top lot, 3-year-old colt Valedictorian (Zoustar) for $200,000. Valedictorian has had six starts, placing in his last three in a row. He was also fourth in the G2 Skyline Stakes at two.

“Many thanks to Eric for purchasing Valedictorian – he’s a lovely horse with very few miles on the clock, so our fingers are crossed for good success for his new owners,” said vendor James Harron.
Valedictorian was a $1.3 million purchase by the James Harron Colt Partnership from Segenhoe Stud's Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale draft.
The September (Late) Sale grossed $2,919,050, with three other lots making over $100,000. There have been 111 lots sold for $100,000 or more so far in 2025.
