Kalizma is the second foal out of the five-time winner Kardashing (Redoute’s Choice), who was also placed at Listed level. Kardashing is one of seven winners from Show Stealer (Tobougg {Ire}) who herself was an eight-time winner.
Kardashing, in recent years has produced a 2-year-old filly by Pierro and a yearling filly by Maurice (Jpn), she unfortunately missed to Pierro last spring.
Kalizma was passed in short of her $300,000 reserve at the 2024 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale

The consistent Immortal Storm (I Am Immortal) chases maiden success at Port Macquarie at start number four on Thursday for trainer Scott Henley.
He has run three placings in his three career starts so far, and looks hard to beat in this maiden event over 1200 metres.

Immortal Storm is the third foal out of La Romanina (Exceed And Excel). She was placed on the track but is very well-related, being a three-quarter-sister to the outstanding Beiwacht (Bivouac), who was so impressive winning the G1 Golden Rose this spring in track-record time. She is also a half sister to Gravina (Sebring) who has been successful at Listed level.
La Romanina, in recent times, has produced yearling and foal fillies by All Too Hard.
Immortal Storm was withdrawn from the 2024 Magic Millions National Yearling Sale.
Looking Back
Plaintiff (Zoustar) - The $2.2 million filly was too good on debut at Rosehill.
Espana (Capitalist) - Won nicely on the Caulfield Health, as she gained deserved maiden success.
Touchdown (NZ) (Almanzor {Fr}) - Was very impressive winning on the Caulfield Heath, he looks a very progressive gelding.
