In total the November (Late) Sale grossed $2,496.900, at an 80% clearance rate.

Post Impressionist (Ire) (Teofilo {Ire}), Moonquake (Medaglia D'Oro {USA}), and Tarpaulin (Harry Angel {Ire}) take the number of $100,000+ lots sold on Inglis Digital in 2025 to 122.

Post Impressionist makes $225,000

The talented 7-year-old stayer Post Impressionist (Ire) (Teofilo {Ire}) was offered by Anthony Freedman Racing on behalf of his owners on behalf of the 7YO’s owners Nick and Lloyd Williams and James Packer, and was purchased by Shane Morrissy for $225,000.

The gelding is a four-time winner up to 2800 metres, and he tasted success in the G3 N E Manion Cup in 2024.

Moments after securing Post Impressionist in the November (Late) Sale, Morrissy confirmed his latest equine acquisition would be transferred to Warrnambool trainer Simon Ryan and be aimed toward his home Cup in early May.

“I’ve bought a few horses through Inglis Digital over the years, including some ex-Lloyd ones and had some luck so I was more than happy to go again,’’ Morrissy said.

“It’s just such a transparent platform and it works so well for both vendors and buyers, which I think is evident with this horse today again.

“$225,000 was about my limit, I must say. I was happy to get him at that price but I also didn’t have too many clicks left in me to keep going.

“Post Impressionist has been running in some pretty significant Spring Carnival races of late and he was only beaten 1.9 lengths in a Herbert Power a couple of starts ago so we believe he’s still got plenty left to give.

“We’ll bring him back a notch and target him at the Warrnambool Cup, he’ll go to Simon Ryan to be trained and hopefully we can have plenty of fun with him.’’

Nick Williams was similarly pleased with today’s outcome.

“The price is very reasonable from both parties’ perspective, we’re definitely happy with $225,000 and I hope the buyer is happy to have secured him for that price,’’ Williams said.

“We’ve been a fan of Inglis Digital since the very first sale I’d say, it’s a great platform and this is a great result and it’s just a great tool for everybody in the industry.

“Post Impressionist is a horse who, is he going to win a Melbourne Cup? No, he’s not, but he’s going to win a decent staying race for someone, he could win an Adelaide Cup or something like that and they can have a lot of fun with him.

“The beauty with him is he’s recently passed the Racing Victoria vet protocol for the Spring Carnival so he’s as sound as they come and has a solid racing future ahead of him.’’

A unique 3-in-1 offering sells for $220K

It’s not often that a mare who is a half to a four-time Group 1 winner comes to market - especially with a quality colt at foot and in foal to a G1 Golden Slipper-winning sire. But that was the case with Moonquake (USA) (Medaglia D'Oro {USA}), with River Junction offering and selling the package for $220,000 to Phoenix Investments.

“It’s a really good result, I’m really happy,’’ River Junction’s Troy Schmidt said.

“It was a strong package but I got what I wanted for her so I’m happy. It was all so easy with Inglis Digital too, I did it all myself and had no problems, I couldn’t ask for more really.’’

Moonquake is an 8-year-old half-sister to the outstanding Hartnell (GB) (Authorized {Ire}), a four-time Group 1 winner in Australia who accumulated 13 wins across Great Britain and Australia. She is also a half-sister to the Listed winner Roz (GB) (Teofilo {Ire}) and the Listed-placed duo Dominetta (Zoustar) and Ursula (USA) (Tapit {USA}).

Unraced herself, Moonquake already boasts a 2-year-old colt by The Autumn Sun, that has the potential to add to the mare's appeal. The July-born Maurice colt at foot was included in the sale, while she has also been tested in foal to the promising young Coolmore Stud sire Shinzo, making her a rare and highly attractive 3-in-1 package.

The Godolphin draft sells for $505K

At the 2025 Inglis Digital November (Late) Sale, a draft of 12 horses offered by Godolphin made a strong impression, producing the third, fourth, fifth and sixth top lots of the sale and collectively raising $505,000 at an average of $42,083.

For prospective buyers, the Godolphin horses sold via Inglis Digital have proven a happy hunting ground, with previous offerings such as Alegron (Teofilo {Ire}), Sandpaper (Snitzel) and Barber (Exceed And Excel) all passing through a Godolphin draft before going on to become stakes winners for their new connections.

The draft was led by Lot 6, Tarpaulin (Harry Angel {Ire}), who sold to Rosemary Lewis for $105,000. The 4-year-old gelding is a dual winner on the track, earning just over $186,000 from 14 starts. He is out of Shelters (Lonhro), a three-time winner and full sister to Group 1 winner and sire Benfica.

Shelters has proven an exceptional broodmare, producing seven individual winners, including stakes performers Aft Cabin (Astern), Multaja (Medaglia D’Oro {USA}) and Veranillo (Medaglia D’Oro {USA}).

“We’ve been trying for the past few Inglis online sales to buy another one but just kept missing out so it’s great to buy Tarpaulin today,’’ Lewis said.

“We’re based in Cooma and Matt Kelly in Canberra trains our horses and he will train Tarpaulin as well.

“Matt looks after them like he’d look after his own mum and dad, he has a great work ethic so hopefully this horse can be racing in the metro areas and we can have plenty of success with him.’’

Lot 8, Tong Ho (Exceed And Excel), was also popular, with the Jolly Time Syndicate securing the 3-year-old for $90,000. Tong Ho has won two of his nine starts and is out of Crown Daisy (USA) (More Than Ready {USA}).

Crown Daisy was unraced but is a half-sister to Champion Hong Kong stayer Subscribe (NZ) – Vengeance Of Rain (H.K.) – and G1 Australian Oaks winner Dizelle (Zabeel {NZ}). Tong Ho’s grandam, Danelagh (Danehill {USA}), was also a G1 Blue Diamond Stakes winner.

Lot 2, Corniche, a 5-year-old gelded son of Fastnet Rock, sold for $85,000 to the bid of Shawn William Mathrick. He has already been a stakes winner on the track, claiming the G2 Skyline Stakes and the G3 Gold Coast Guineas. He is one of six winners from the Group 3 winner Montsegur (New Approach {Ire}), who has also produced the dual Group 3 winner Heresy (Street Boss {USA}).
