Whether they are an exceptionally well-bred or high-priced runner early in their career chasing maiden success, a promising galloper returning to the track or a horse that has trialled particularly well, we’ll aim to give you something to follow.

Three promising runners by Per Incanto (USA), I Am Invincible and Deep Field are chasing maiden success across Australia on Wednesday.

Mission Of Joy (NZ), 3-year-old filly (Per Incanto (USA) x Amal Rose {Written Tycoon})

The exciting Mission Of Joy (NZ) (Per Incanto {USA}) takes her place at Geelong for trainers Ben, Will and JD Hayes on Wednesday.

She ran a very nice second at Mornington on debut earlier this month behind Doubtland Diva (Doubtland), and she should have only improved from that experience.

Mission Of Joy is the first foal out of Amal Rose (Written Tycoon), she was a winner over 1400 metres, but showed her class as a filly when running fourth in the Listed Oaks Prelude at Taranaki.

Mission Of Joy’s great grandam Bramble Rose (NZ) (Shinko King {Ire}), was a very good 3-year-old staying filly winning the G1 New Zealand Oaks, and placing in the G1 Australian Oaks and the G1 Arrowfield Stud Stakes.

She ended up leaving three stakes winners Maules Creek (Redoute’s Choice), Sebrose (Sebring), and Tangled (Snitzel). This is also the family of the Group 3 winner Lady Chaparral (NZ) (High Chaparral {Ire}).

Since producing Mission Of Joy, Amal Rose has left a 2-year-old colt named Avedis (Per Incanto {USA}), a yearling colt by Toronado (Ire), and was due to foal to Tassort this spring.

Mission Of Joy was purchased by KPW Bloodstock for NZ$260,000 from the Little Avondale Stud draft at the 2024 New Zealand Bloodstock Karaka National Yearling Sale.

Lady Verity, 3-year-old filly (I Am Invincible x Volpe Veloce {Foxwedge})

The promising Lady Verity (I Am Invincible), is set to make her third start for trainer Matt Laurie at Geelong on Wednesday. She ran a nice race for second on the Ballarat Synthetic on debut where she was a touch unlucky in late July, and then ran another solid second at Sale at her second start.

She has since had a small break and won both of her jump-outs at Mornington in preparation for her resuming run.

Lady Verity, is by I Am Invincible and is the second foal out of the Foxwedge mare Volpe Veloce, who was an outstanding galloper in New Zealand winning twelve times from 1200 metres to 1600 metres. Her best wins were in the G1 Railway Handicap, G2 Eight Carat Classic, G2 Westbury Classic, G2 Japan-NZ International Trophy, G3 Eulogy Stakes, R. Listed Karaka 3YO Mile and the Listed Castletown Stakes.

Volpe Veloce is also well-related being a full sister to Raposa Rapida (Foxwedge) who was an eight-time winner including at Listed level and Lady Verity's grandam Bardego (Barathea {Ire}) was a very talented juvenile winning at Group 3 level and Listed level.

Volpe Veloce has had I Am Invincible as a constant companion, since leaving Lady Veriyy, she has produced a yearling filly by I Am Invincible, and foaled a ‘Vinnie’ filly in October.

Lady Verity was purchased for $450,000 by Matt Laurie and P Morgan from the draft of Longwood Thoroughbred Farm at the 2024 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale.

Wyong, Race 1, 1.45pm AEDT, Rarity Wholesale 4YO&UP Maiden Plate, $42,000, 1600m

Bohemian Art, 4-year-old mare (Deep Field x Your Life Style {Hussonet {USA}})

The Nathan Doyle-trained Bohemian Art (Deep Field) will run at Wyong on Wednesday, she has ran in the top four in five of her career starts and has picked up placings at Newcastle twice.

In the hands of apprentice Shannen Llewellyn she will carry the lightweight of 54kg, and the step up to 1600 metres looks like it should suit.

The promising filly is by Deep Field and is the eighth foal from the Hussonet (USA) mare Your Life Style, who was unraced on the track but her pedigree is top-class as illustrated by being a $1.2 million purchase by Newgate Farm at the 2014 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale.

She has left three winners including the eight-time winner Cafe Royal (Snitzel) who was also placed in the Listed Silk Stocking Handicap.

Your Life Style is three-quarter-sister to the dam of three-time Group 1 winner Shoals (Fastnet Rock) and the Listed winning gelding Groundswell (Fastnet Rock). She is also a half-sister to Precious Lorraine (Encosta De Lago) who was successful in the G3 South Australia Fillies Classic and the Listed winner Lucky Raquie (Encosta De Lago).

Your Life Style since producing Bohemian Art has left a yearling colt by Capitalist and a weanling colt by Russian Revolution.

Bohemian Art was withdrawn from the 2023 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

Imzada (Alabama Express) - Unfortunately dropped right out of her race at Ararat, hopefully there is no major issue, and the well bred filly is okay.

Hand Luggage (Farnan) - Was unfortunately scratched from her race at Ararat, she will keep for another day.
