Winx's Snitzel colt is one of 75 siblings and offspring of Group 1 winners to star in Inglis's sneak peak at the 2026 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale. Overwhelming support for the 'best of the best' sale has created a bumper catalogue to be launched next month.

On Friday, Inglis are revealing a selection of ‘headline acts’ from the 2026 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale catalogue, with the full catalogue to be launched in January.

Held at the Riverside Stables sales complex in Warwick Farm on March 29 and 30, the bumper catalogue will feature 75 yearlings that are either siblings to or out of Group 1 winners.

While super mare Winx’s (Street Cry {Ire}) son by the late four-time Champion Sire Snitzel will no doubt be the lot met with the most anticipation, Inglis are pleased to tease a slew of other standouts to be offered in the two-day sale.

“It eventuated that we had a very nice group of horses for the sale in 2025, but the success of that sale and positive market sentiment around Inglis in general has meant the support of Easter 2026 has been incredible,” said Inglis Bloodstock CEO Sebastian Hutch.

“The sale has been ‘full’ since entries closed in September and the quality from every perspective - stallion power, female families, vendor profile - is extraordinarily strong.”

Full siblings to outstanding young stallions Switzerland, Captivant, Hitotsu, Celestial Legend, Trapeze Artist, and Schwarz will be offered alongside full siblings to triple Group 1 winner Zougotcha (Zoustar), Champion 2YO Fireburn (Rebel Dane), G1 Golden Slipper Stakes winner Estijaab (Snitzel), and last season’s G1 JJ Atkins Plate winner Cool Archie (Cool Aza Beel {NZ}).

Active, stakes-performing pedigrees are to the fore, with the catalogue also containing a full brother to Group 2-winning, Group 1-placed Too Darn Lizzie (Too Darn Hot {GB}), who remains in training with Ciaron Maher, a three-quarter-brother to dual Group 1 winner Magic Time (Hellbent), and a Zoustar half-sister to G2 Roman Consul Stakes winner Hidden Motive (Capitalist), who was recently valued at $1.05 million after two 5% shares in the colt sold in an Inglis Digital online auction.

Featuring alongside them will be the first foals from four-time Group 1 winner Montefilia (Kermadec {NZ}) and top class performer Isotope (Deep Field), a Justify (USA) filly out of champion Sunlight (Zoustar), an Anamoe filly out of G1 Coolmore Classic winner Lighthouse (USA) (Mizzen Mast {USA}), and the final foal - an I Am Invincible colt - out of dual Group 1 winner Pippie (Written Tycoon).

Hutch described the catalogue’s power as “staggering”.

“It’s going to be a bigger catalogue than in 2025, which means more opportunities for buyers, which is exciting,” he said. “The value on offer at a sale like this is often underestimated and it’s worth bearing in mind that, despite the strength of the sale in 2025, there were 104 yearlings that could have been bought for $200,000 or less.”

He added, “Inglis Easter is the best yearling sale in the Southern Hemisphere by just about every credible metric.

“You are more likely to find a Group 1 winner at Easter, a high-class 2-year-old at Easter.” - Sebastian Hutch

“You are more likely to find a Group 1 winner at Easter, a high-class 2-year-old at Easter, it’s got a proven track record as ‘The Best Of The Best’, and the 2026 renewal is going to be very much in keeping with that tradition.”
