The progressive I Am Invincible mare Trounce chases her second win at Newcastle for trainer Kris Lees at Newcastle on Tuesday. She won her maiden nicely at Taree at her last start, and looks the type that may be able to step up in grade and get the job done.
Trounce is out of the winning Flying Spur mare Noondie, and is a half sister to the Written Tycoon mare Booker, she was a four-time winner and her wins included the G1 Oakleigh Plate, G2 Thousand Guineas Prelude, and the G3 Kevin Hayes Stakes.

Trounce is also a half-sister to the young Waikato Stud stallion Banquo, he was a handy colt winning at Listed level and being multiple times Group placed.
In recent years, Noondie has produced an I Am Invincible yearling colt, and missed to Hellbent last spring.
Australian Bloodstock purchased Trounce for $1 million at the 2023 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale from the Yarraman Park Stud draft.
